The problem with Argos is other members of this forum have been told the opposite of what I have been told, and I got the same thing in two emails and today on chat so really my post is a warning to just be careful.

Basicly if anyone buys an ereader from Argos, especially in store, if they have any reason to wish to return it it's going to be down to the managers discretion only.
Then patience is a virtue indeed; best to wait it out and sort your misgivings personally

No wonder businesses feel betrayed then, especially if such schemes are commonplace or more prevalent than what majority thinks, and their response to tighten the return policy is more than justified in that case.
