You got me. Though if Germany is anything like other countries as far as ebooks I'd imagine it depends on how new/old the book is and how many people want to read it as an ebook. I wanted to read "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" as an ebook for several yrs before they finally came out with the actual book. Of course it was written just a few yrs before the movie with Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison was made so it wasn't exactly a new title. I like to imagine that enough people asked for it (via the button for the book at Amazon) in ebook format that someone sat up and took notice.
