Yeah, I called a second time, and they "verified" the invalid number, and also said they didn't know when the device had actually shipped out... rather... amazing, to say the least.

When I got home, turns out the device had arrived The tracking number on the customs form, and what was passed to USPS, was a completely different number. That number worked fine on the CanadaPost website. Pulled the packing slip out, and the number they gave me *was* on a shipping label underneath, which if I had to guess, was improperly generated or some such, so they did the second one?

I'd never actually had to deal with Kobo Customer service before, and I have to say I'm "mighty impressed"
