Thanks Amy_k, that's kind of strange. I had a Google Play credit from taking surveys so I purchased both books. Now I need to figure out how to open the book with Calibre so I can transfer it to my Kindle.
Edited to add--I was able to download the PDFs of both titles but the formatting is weird and I wonder if these were legitimately published.
