I bought mine from Argos and I specifically asked about returns. They said I could return it for any reason within 30 days, and provided it was in a reasonable state (ie in original packaging, etc) there'd be no problem.

FWIW, I honestly can't recall ever having personally seen any reader I've bought, prior to buying it .
