I am planning to buy a Kindle touch (A is throwing them out for 60€ currently) to use it as an Info-display in my home. The Problem is that i don't really want it to "Phone home", but i need the WiFi to get Data on it. Is there a way to get the Amazon apps off of it and run it like a Linux-Box with the xserver running on it.
