I can't see how an 8GB tablet would work for any child that has full access to the tablet. Maybe they're hoping to sell them to schools that limit usage.
Thanks for the info. So they will make a case. What Amazon really needs to do is make a 16GB Kids Edition. Just tack on another $20 like they do to the standard models.

As to 8GB, there's only 4.5GB available to the user. After loading some apps, games, and books, there isn't much left for videos.
