Roasted asparagus topped with a lemon and butter sauce sounds fantastic, but even the though of poached egg turns my stomach. Unless the yolk is hard enough to chip your teeth, I won't go near it. Even after so many years living in Japan, where beaten raw egg is used as a 'dipping sauce' for many dishes, I still can't handle it.
