Sign up at UPS for the MyUPS service. Its free. They send you an email the day before delivery of the delivery date and a 2 hour window. You can then change the date and / or time to your own prefences.

For a small annual free you can get one day delivery on all Amazon shipments.

Plus, you an call UPS and have them waive the signing requirement for all deliveries. I have no signing requirement at my house.
