If you upgraded from v1.x then you should take a look at http://calibre-ebook.com/new-in/eleven which is linked from the What's New page.

Always take a look at what kind of seriously major changes might've happened when doing a major upgrade.

In this case, you would've seen that the vast majority of plugins require updates to use the new graphical toolkit. And there is even a status page linked there, to tell you what plugins are compatible with calibre 2.x: http://plugins.calibre-ebook.com/porting.html

Did you notice that you were also alerted to a long list of plugins that need updating in addition to calibre??? There is a tiny list of not-very-popular plugins that haven't received updates for calibre 2.x compatibility.
