Thank you very much for these images - it seems like there won't be problems in reading those PDFs, as long as I can put up with having to scroll up and down a few times per page if there are multiple columns.
The BeBook actually looks quite cool, and it's significantly cheaper than the bigger iRex reader, and has much better battery life, so maybe I won't wait till next year to buy one.
