But anyway the first startup will activate a splash screen asking you to confirm where you want the library to go. Make sure the folder you copied the backup to is selected, and it will load the library.
That is correct:

The folder at instal must be:
1)A valid Library (contains metadata.db)
2)or empty

you can not do a Install using a folder that just has a collection of books.
