I fear this is the Glo debacle again where those who pre-ordered direct from Kobo didn't get it till days after they could have picked it up at a store. Fortunately it would be a 45 minute drive to pick one up in store likely, so I'm not as cranky as I would have been if I could have gotten it in store locally.
So you're lucky you were more than a 45 minute drive (more like 8 hours) so it's safe from me
