Chronicle Books, which publishes a large number of cookbooks (and usually with very good to excellent quality recipes), has marked down a large number of their cookbooks.

It seems like Chronicle does this on a regular basis, but I haven't observed enough or been observant enough to know how often that is.

There are far too many books to list. About the best that I can come up with is a webpage of search results where you can find all or most of them. It's http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=...oks-Submit.y=7. There are some irrelevant books, but it will be fairly easy to pick out the right ones. Some of you probably can come up with a better search; if so, please post the web address that has the results.

Let me give you an additional "heads up," actually two heads ups. Kobo has most, if not all of these, and Chronicle Books are discountable. Also, Kobo has a cheaper price on some of the titles to begin with (the ones that I have noticed have been on the Amazon $3.99-priced books; Kobo has been $3.49).

UPDATE: I noticed that the book Savory Baking by Mary Cech does not show on the Amazon webpage as being a marked-down book. In fact, it is one.
