I also agree. 8 gig tablets are barely usable at this point, forcing hard choices on apps, that's why I promised myself only 16 gig or up from now on.
But from Amazon's point of view they want you "in their cloud" with Prime and Amazon music. That's all good until you lose a wireless connection
