True. I think these promotions would show up in the cart, if books weren't one click. I received promotional credit a couple of times from Amazon, that credit didn't show up on those Mp3, video etc either. It showed up when I put something in my cart and went to check out. Usually listed next to the gift card amount and just called promotional credit.
I think that is where those are, just that we can't see them as there is no cart for ebooks.
