Not sure how that follows, you could just as easily fold the current kindle pw case flat to the back of the device and both buttons would be equally accessible if the new one was designed the same way.
Did they copyright the design of the origami covers for the fire last year, it might be the case that they can stop people doing copycat designs with this one, but aren't able to do so with the more book-like covers.
I am still undecided on what case to get, I had ordered the non-leather origami case at the same time that I ordered my voyage, but I have since cancelled that and can't decide between the leather origami or one of the 3rd party offerings yet.
