It's a little premature, but I've nicknamed my Glo "the kilobook."

My ebooks go through a certain cycle. I buy and download them into Limbo, where they sit until I have a chance to process them. That's where I fix any bad metadata, standardize some of the CSS (usually font sizes and text indents), add any autograph pages I've collected that apply, and otherwise prep the book. Once that's done, it goes into my library and, if it's a book I haven't read or one I have read but always want to have available, onto the Glo. As I read, I watch for typos and formatting flaws, using the annotation feature to document them. Then, when I finish reading the book, I go back into the library and fix those, removing the annotations as I go. Once that's done, I update the library copy and delete the one from the Glo.

Right now, I've got 938 books loaded, and I'm three-quarters of the way through the one I'm reading. That's not quite a thousand, but it's close enough for the nickname.

Plus, I've got a pretty big backlog in Limbo, enough that I wish there was a good way to automate the processing. Unfortunately, I know that books are just too individual to submit to automation. Thankfully - if indeed that's the right word - the new restrictions on Kobo contest codes have slowed down my ebook acquisition, so maybe I can start getting more stuff out of Limbo and onto the reader, making the nickname reality and then an understatement.
