This sounded interesting, but when I saw the published date, I thought, hey, what if it is at Project Gutenberg? And sure enough...

Also, Off Topic, but I was at a yard sale today and they had an 1890 edition, very beat up of Lorna Doone, so I checked PG and of course they had it -- and the picture of the book itself looked exactly like the one I saw at the sale, illustrations included. I downloaded it, too, just because.
