To be honest, I'm not sure yet. I have to get it and see if I like the size and other things about it enough to offset the hideous carousel and unimaginative deep space black hole wall paper. It's possible that I might become bored with it and hand it over to my daughters permanently. The last Fire I had, the 2013 Fire HD, I got on that payment plan, before I was through with the last payment, I decided I didn't like it anymore. The Nexus 7.2 was just so much better! So I gave it to my girls.....but I sold it to get the Fire 6. I'm
hoping I just love the size, hoping I'll like reading on it. It's probably too small to do the web on, but I do play a couple of games and it would be fine for that. I'm hoping it will be comparatively fast as the Nexus.
So it remains to be seen. I'd like to use it as a reader, and as a portable tablet to take in my purse for when I might be near free wifi. I'll definitely give it a good try. If I like the size and screen for reading on, that would be ideal, since I can use Calibre Companion and Moon+ Reader and store thousands of books. But if I don't like it, the girls will get it sooner rather than later. (I plan to get one for them for Christmas, if I just love the Fire 6). Right now, I just want to see it! LOL
