@aluisscp - is it just one book or all epub->kepub conversions.

Anyways, try giving calibre a dedicated temporary directory with the CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR environment variable - something like c:\calibreTemp, see ==>> Customizing calibre - Environment Variables That may get over the reinstall/reboot nightmare.
