Free (Kindle UK) Spoilers/Juggernaut by D. Bagley [Vintage Global Adventure Thriller]

The Spoilers / Juggernaut by the late and apparently somewhat influential Desmond Bagley (SYKM, Wikipedia) comprise an omnibus edition of two of his vintage globe-trotting action adventure thrillers, originally published in 1969 & 1985, respectively, along with a bonus short story, free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins' uncollinated Harper imprint.

Currently free @ Amazon UK. This isn't being price-matched to iTunes and occasionally official multi-store UK freebies are a little late to drop in the other stores, so here's some linkage for your price-drop-check convenience @ Kobo (most likely only available to the UK) & B&N UK, where this may also show up in another couple of days as other freebies have done recently.

Unlikely to cross the pond, as we've a had a very low transmigration rate for HarperCollins UK freebies to date.

Also, if you happen to like this author's work, an omnibus edition of two of his vintage globe-trotting action adventure espionage thrillers in the "Slade" series involving a Russian double agent is discounted to just £0.99: Running Blind / The Freedom Trap from 1970 & 1971, respectively (linkage provided to Kobo UK, but should be in multiple stores since this is HC and it's not couponable). All of the author's other available books seem to be set at £3.99 or more.

Description
Double action thrillers by the classic adventure writer set in the Middle East and Africa.

THE SPOILERS

When film tycoon Robert Hellier loses his daughter to heroin, he declares war on the drug pedlars, the faceless overlords whose greed supplies the world with its deadly pleasures. London drug specialist Nicholas Warren is called upon to organise an expedition to the Middle East to track down and destroy them - but with a hundred million dollars' worth of heroin at stake, Warren knows he will have to use methods as deadly as his prey…

JUGGERNAUT

It was no ordinary juggernaut. Longer than a football pitch, weighing 550 tons, and moving at just five miles per hour, its job - and that of troubleshooter Neil Mannix - is to move a giant transformer across an oil-rich African state. But when Nyala erupts in civil war, Mannix's juggernaut is at the centre of the conflict - a target of ambush and threat, with no way to run and nowhere to hide…

Includes a unique bonus - The House of the Lions, a story written exclusively for Desmond Bagley's Christmas house guests in the 1960s.
