The first video is clearly faked. Hard to know why. The second video seems pretty legitimate.
That being said, this guy is deliberately setting out to destroy a piece of equipment. It's no more shocking that the phone breaks than if he had dented a car door by taking a hammer to it, or if he had shattered a computer monitor by throwing it on the ground.
