By all popular definition, I am a "dog-person". However, having been the very happy host of Homer, the super-friendly Ginger feline tummy-rubbee, I am quite prepared to extend my trust to cats that turn up their noses at doughnuts on the basis that, I strongly suspect, it is merely their anticipatory hope that positive qualitative differences will become apparent through patience and optimism.

That is, they're just waiting for a better doughnut.
