If I can find a cover that is similar to my current Kindle's (which means, no plastic edges, no clasps, no metal, no protrusions, blablabla) I might just order the H2O and play with it. It tempts me far more than the Kindle Voyage, to be honest. In the Netherlands, I can return it within two weeks, if handled carefully, so the only loss I might sustain are some shipment costs and an €10 Ebay cover I won't be using.

Seeing the prices of the current SD cards, Kobo should just have created a reader with a slide-off back cover (just like phones used to have), and deliver the reader with no card. The buyer could then easily install a card of any size. The external slot could then be dropped.
If the OS is on the card, they could still offer a reader with different card sizes, for a reasonable amount of extra money. It would make usage easier, and still one-up the Kindle regarding storage.
