Protecting the screen

If the screen is recessed like the PW1/2 lying the device face down on a hard flat surface protects the screen. the device will be lying on the bazel which stands proud of the screen, there will be a gap between the surface its stood on and the screen itself.

Obviously this only works if the surface you are lying the device on is hard and completely flat, dinner table, breakfast bar, kitchen work top etc...
