I just learned the Fire HD 6 has a SlimPort-compatible USB, so it can be hooked up to a TV via HDMI with an adapter. Yay! I'm disappointed that the Fire HDX models don't have this feature.
I'll probably buy one of these once they're available in stores and primarily use it to view Amazon Instant Videos on my TV. This will be my first Fire. Amazon did things right with this one! It has a good combination of features at a reasonable price. The colors are a fun option, too.
