That's one of the things that is always keeping me away from a Kindle ereader. I buy a lot of Kindle books but I convert them to epubs and read them on my Nook HD using either the Mantano Essentials or Moon+ reading software because they let me adjust the font size more precisely.

I would call it medium, not medium large.
I've never understood the lack of all modifications, not just text size like others have already said. Line spacing, margins, font choices...
