Book I bought - won't open on my Touch
There might be a few different issues here, I'm not sure.
I bought a book a couple of years ago and I finally planned to read it as of a couple of days ago. I was able to get past the title page, then it told me I didn't have access to it (I can't remember the exact error message).
I plugged my Kobo into my PC and opened the Kobo desktop software, hoping it would sync properly. It didn't.
At some point in time, I also got a message that my Kobo was full and that I should delete some. I deleted between 5-10 books.
I logged into Kobobooks and went to my library to try to resync Desktop to what I'd bought. I did the "bookmark" thing to bring it to the forefront, and resync it into Desktop. That appeared to work.
But, when I plugged my Kobo back in, it still didn't bring the book back onto my Touch. Once again, I got the message that my Kobo was full (despite having just deleting things). I deleted more.
I tried unplugging and plugging it back in to hopefully resync it. It doesn't seem to be working.
I went back to my Library on the Kobobooks site and downloaded it into Adobe Digital Editions. I was able to get it onto my Kobo that way, but there is no cover and the formatting is a bit odd.
Really, I'd like to get the actual book I paid for back onto my Kobo, rather than the oddly formatted, non-covered version via ADE.
Any ideas? I could try again with a couple of days in between to see if that changes anything, but I'm not sure if it will. In the meantime, I'll read something else (though if all else fails, I will read the version I was able to upload via ADE). I'm also hoping it doesn't continually tell me there's no more room and I need to keep deleting things.
Oh, at some point in time between all the plugging and unplugging and trying again, I did delete the original version of it from my Kobo, so currently I only have the ADE version on my Kobo.
Thanks so much.
