Done with B&N. They've closed 2 of the most convenient stores to me anyway and of the 2 remaining, 1 is an absolute bear to find parking and the other isn't much better.
In some ways I'm sad. I grew up always going into B. Dalton or Waldenbooks every time we went to the mall. Then there was Book Stop (may have been regional), Borders (none around me anymore), Books a Million (none around me anymore), and now, I'm not all that sure B&N has a long future.

I'm not thrilled about it either. The B&N near me didn't have great customer service (as in good luck finding someone to help you, they may or may not be willing to stand at the computer and order something for you and if the B&N twenty to thirty minutes down the road had the inventory you could go drive there and get it yourself because they wouldn't order it or have it sent to the local store). But as a buyer and an author...we need more than Amazon. I know more and more publishers are going direct to the customer and that's great too, but I can't walk in and browse at a Simon and Schuster store.
