I have Kobo Touch with 3.3.0 and Kobo Mini with 3.4.1 firmware versions. Both still have slider at bottom of library page. I have 90 books on Kobo Mini and 2354 books on Kobo Touch. I have long standing complaint about idiotic implementation of slider at bottom of library page. By getting rid of sider they are hiding an embarrassment which is much easier than programing proper implemented slider.
As I move the slider it should quickly show location change letting me know when to stop at wanted Title or Author. Kobo in its infinite wisdom displays page numbers as slider is moved. Not Authors or Titles that would be useful. Page numbers indicating position in library I am scanning with slider gives poor general position which is a cruel joke time waster in a 2000 book library.
Using Search function for title or author is fast accurate and easy.
