Dave: Thanks for your comments. I didn't know about the long press on the updated Annotation Bookmarks - that worked fine.

Seems my Touch is not only freezing upon using the "Annotation" function. Tonight it just froze while I was reading. As before, after a while it responded to buttons I had pressed earlier and upon waking up went back to the homepage.

All this only started happening a few days ago. Before that it had been working fine for 2 years. Because the Annotation Bookmark function had changed at the same time that this problem started, I assumed it was related to a firmware upgrade.

So I logged out and then logged back in (using USB connection) only to find that the Annotation Bookmark freezing problem is still there. Has there been a fix for that problem? Any idea why it just start after two years?

FYI, after I did the factory reboot, the % read went to zero and stayed there even as I continued to read. But after the logout/login procedure, that you recommended, the % read now shows the proper %.
