I'd consider the new Kobo, but I want the the page turn buttons on the voyager and the higher ppi, plus the amazon software. So I'll stick with kindle, but alas..

Agree! Even if they would just open it up for modifications like they use to in older models. The K3 Keyboard was fairly easy to hack as far as margins. The Sony PRS x00 and x50 models were fairly easy to hack for additional fonts. Heck Amazon could even make money by selling FW add-ons--I would pay more to get more fonts and formatting options. Yeah I know there are a lot of folks here griping about the $200 price of the Voyage, but many of us paid over $300 several years ago for our first eInk readers, so $200 is still way less, especially if you factor in inflation for the past several years.
