My husband can walk up and it lights up, I have to peck and peck. And by peck I mean I do it exactly like my husband, but nothing. Oh well, main issue though for me and page buttons is that I have really bad wrists and joints on the hands. So the constant movement of my thumb to go over the screen again and again can be painful. With buttons, its just a light downward press, not a joint movement to the side.
I agree with you about having buttons for page turning. I do like touchscreens too, though--especially for looking up words and accessing menus. My Sony 350 and 650 have both buttons and touch screen--when reading on them, I probably use the buttons about half the time for turning pages and the touch screen the other half. It's great to have options!

The fact that the Voyage has added buttons for page turning and still kept the touchscreen makes it intriguing for me, but can't justify purchasing one as I have a KPW2 and an AuraHD that's only a little over a month old.
