It's not that I have any substantial complaints about the firmware, as a whole. 3.8.0 seems to be working fine ... more or less. Though I can't see what in all is much different from the previous 3.5.1 that i was using.
But there are some pointless things in it. (Subjective call, I realise.) Why on earth, for instance, would I want to be able to broadcast direct from my Kobo to the world at large what book I'm reading? Who the heck gives a toss about it? And why does Kobo spin its development wheels on things like that, when there are issues to be addressed and features implemented that directly affect file management and navigation? And, ermm,
stability of the device's functions?
