I held out for almost 24 hours before placing my order. I think it was the sticker shock that held me up. In the end, the increased screen resolution and the page press options carried the decision. I ordered the 3g with special offers. (Now that I am used to the special offers I kind of like them)
In the past, I have automatically upgraded to the new model for both the Kindle and Kobo. But with the high end readers for both companies at or above $200, I am going to have to re-think my upgrade policy and possibly go to an every-other-year plan. This hobby is getting expensive.
My delivery date is Oct. 21, can't wait.
