I agree, the turn off option will be available for the Voyager Special Offers. Has the price been determined yet?
Also, in googling the issue I discovered they can be turned off by changing one file.
If I had purchased the Special Offers, I'd leave them on. They do not interfere with reading at all. They display in menus and the cover.
However, the difference in delivery dates means that different production runs or factories will produce them. The later date deliveries with Special Offers turned off may be different units inside, physically.
