Probably not going to upgrade -- not for a while anyhow. Even though I like the new buttons on the Voyage, I'm not going to pay $199 for an eReader. Besides, I still don't know if my (personal) issue with front-lights is resolved by this newer version -- though I might at least try one out at some point.

As for the new Kindle (Touch 2) Basic, unless the screen is a whole lot brighter than my original Touch (which gets much less use than my Kindle Basic), there's really not much use in "upgrading" to it. I don't gain much and lose my speakers. But the price is really good for what you get. I basically use the Touch when I'm reading books with non-English quotes for its translate feature.

I'll probably look for a backup Kindle 4 Basic because they appear to be disappearing fast online and I like the size and weight better than the Touch. Obviously the supply was cut off several months ago. The sneaky devils.
