I think I have a smaller SD card somewhere and will try that tomorrow. I hadn't actually tried to send to memory via USB, just over the air. I do know if I am plugged in to my laptop via USB and just moving files with nothing to do with Calibre my SD card is viable through the Nook' interface. I'll try connecting via USB as well. Thanks.
