These categories don't line up exactly with what I use but here are mine:
By pages: Fantasy
By # of books: Science Fiction (which includes a lot of short stories)
Fantasy is split between epic/traditional fantasy and paranormal/urban fantasy. Science fiction is split between space sci-fi (military/space opera), post-apocalyptic, and "other" normally near future sci-fi. I wasn't sure which category steampunk fits into.
