I was a long time subscriber to Lovefilm in the UK, now Amazon video, and I'm a Prime customer. The delay in bringing Amazon instant video to Android encouraged me to try out Netflix.

Netflix is great. Chromecast was the icing on the cake.

Amazon have to make this work really well to tempt me back now, and I suspect there are a lot of people like me.

By "really well" I mean that Amazon Video needs to be an app in the Google Play store that doesn't need any other app to run, that looks good and runs smoothly on a tablet, and it needs Chromecast support so that I can throw the content to the TV as easily as I can with Netflix.

Note I'm talking about usage here, not necessarily subscription. As long as I keep up my Prime membership, I have access to Amazon video, but I have never, ever used it other than trying it out at first on my desktop PC.
