Another try on starting koreader from nickel. I changed the script to reboot at the end any case, but still database errors, like it was not closed (seems like unfinished writes to me). I added sync before killing nickel at the beginning of the script. Now all my books are added again (my fault, I forgot to clear the SD and adding back 10-20 books before experimenting), but that may be because of re-loaded database.
Anyway, the question I have: does anyone start koreader from nickel? If yes, anyone else experience the same problem (starting koreader corrupts KoboReader.sqlite)?
(Totally other question: it is nice that . , and such items are out of the justification, but ? and ! are also out of the line of characters, and it makes the look of the page a bit odd, can this behaviour be changed?)
