New Adult = Annoyingly immature and naive adults?

I'm mainly joking, just because I'm enjoying seeing someone echo my sentiments. Frankly, I can't stand most of the NA genre because I spend my time reading the books wanting to yell at the characters for being such self-centered idiots. Ironically, when I encounter well written naive and/or immature characters in other genres, they don't bother me nearly as much.
