From this I deduce that its 'bad form' to have files with spaces in the name in an EPUB. But that said it would be better if Modify either bailed out, or left the file with the dubious name and issued a warning. Seems a tad harsh to just delete the file.
I use Sigil for editing, so I don't get that warning.
Is there a way for Sigil to automatically replace 'spaces' with 'underscores' in the filenames?
..Or Calibre (since I first reconvert them to clean up some code)

FlightCrew in Sigil says that the IDs of the files in the 'content.opf' are invalid because they are written with underscores instead of spaces.
So the answer is yes, I suppose.
Its not the plugin's error after all.

Thanks for the answers.
