I've got a Lenovo Yoga 2 11 that is similar in that it runs Win 8.1 but has the touchscreen. I do pretty much the same as you do on the SP. I do notice that the touchscreen seems more accurate than on my iPad. But I like the Yoga because it has the built in keyboard but can also be folded over to form a tablet.
