Did they mention how they would deal with the new resolutions? I still have an app or two that won't utilize the longer screen on the iPhone 5. I can only imagine that some apps will look bad on the two new resolutions unless Apple built in a way of handling them, at least until, and if, the apps are updated. Heck, there are still iPhone apps that were never updated for the iPad resolutions! Another thing to consider is the usual lack of cases. Apple has a few cases available, but none are going to give much protection. It will be months before we see Otterbox offer a Defender case for these 6's.
And bigger battery due to bigger phone might not equal longer battery life. It takes more juice to power those extra pixels. They actually had to increase the thickness on the iPad mini Retina because of the extra pixels.
