Smile Confuse the Context Specific Advertising Indexer Thread

Most if not all of you have noticed that the ads on MR are context driven, that is to say that they look at what's talked about on a given page and try to match ads to that subject, in hopes that folks will click on ads that are relevant to what they're looking for on a page.

Here's my proposal for a new game:
  1. Pick a word or phrase and put it in a post about 10 times (try to make them random)
  2. Also note the ads that are showing for the page at the time you posted (just a descriptor will do) -- Remember that there are usually ads at the top and bottom of the page

For example:
  • Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens, Turnip Greens
  • Current Ad: "Pocket PC Database Tools"

One other detail: If the ad is for the same thing the previous post reported, just say something like "same as previous ad" so that we don't have the indexer thinking it got it right the first time and never changing it.
