Doesn't the H2O run the same exact software? Just put 3.8.0 on your Glo and you can get the answers to all of these questions yourself.

To be fair, I'm aware that Kobo made some progress in firmware 3.8.0 but that is no guarantee... (firmware 3.5.0 was a complete failure regarding fonts)
Some of the Gothic font sub families are still not displayed correcty in fw 3.8.0.
