I just bought an Asus MeMO Pad 173X last week since I needed something to read PDFs on. It's well built, has an expansion slot, very responsive, no lag at all so far, great screen (7"), and $99 US. Since it'll only be used for PDFs, I didn't want to spend any more than that on one, and I'm very pleased with it so far.
