Augh... perhaps I should have got James Herriot. But while I knew it was a pseudonym, I don't think I ever knew his actual name.

A quick international quiz.

Kellog's Rice Crispies have three advertising mascots named Snap, Crackle and Pop. At least, that's what they're called in English speaking countries. Give me the countries (or languages) where they're known as
  1. Pif, Paf, Puf
  2. Knap, Knaetter, Knak
  3. Pim, Pum, Pam
  4. Clampanitul, Auzi, Pop
  5. Cric, Crac, Croc — France (& Quebec), doubleshuffle
  6. Pif, Pof, Paf
  7. Riks, Raks, Poks,
  8. Piff, Paff, Poff
  9. Knisper, Knasper, Knusper — Germany, doubleshuffle
  10. Pif, Paf, Pof
  11. Nilikula, Nimekasirika, Naumwa
